Our Athletic therapists use the sports medicine model, which encourages the patient to be active and involved in their recovery. We believe in patient education to provide you with the knowledge you need to assist the rehabilitation process in an accelerated and safe manner while preventing re-injury. Benefits of Athletic Therapy include pain reduction, improved blood flow and nutrient delivery to your muscles, reduction of scar tissue, improved tissue elasticity and improved muscle strength and flexibility.


Physiotherapy

Sam is a certified Athletic Therapist and Registered Massage Therapist. Sam attended York University where she obtained a Bachelors of Arts in Kinesiology and a certificate in Athletic Therapy. Sam then furthered her studies at the Ontario College of Health and Technology where she earned a diploma in Massage Therapy.

Sam works closely with local teams as their AT, you may have seen her on the bench with Brantford 99ers Jr.A (2022/23, 2023/24 seasons), Six Nations Arrows Jr.A (2022,23,24 seasons), Brantford Warriors Jr.C (2023,24 seasons) and Brantford Titans Jr.B (2024/25 season). In addition to hockey and lacrosse, Sam was the Sr student therapist with York University Women’s basketball. While Sam works closely with the athletic community, she believes that exercise can be tailored to anyone’s life and specific needs.With her RMT designation, Sam is excited for the chance to work closely with a variety of clients in the clinical setting. Sam believes in a holistic approach to her patients’ concerns, looking at the whole picture to best understand and find a solution. Sam is her athlete’s and patient’s biggest fan and is dedicated to improving their health and wellness.

Kenzie graduated from McMaster University with her Master of Science in Physiotherapy following her completion of a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University. Kenzie is currently practicing as a Physiotherapy Resident, where she continues to build on her expertise and clinical skills.

Her background as an athlete throughout her life, including playing Lacrosse at Dalhousie University, gives her a unique insight into the demands placed on athletes and clients. In addition, Kenzie has also provided care to athletes on the sidelines of the University of King’s College Women’s Volleyball team and Halifax Mooseheads.

Kenzie is interested in working with a diverse range of patients, including athletes, weekend warriors, and patients with cardiac conditions. Having been a Kinesiologist prior to her Master’s degree, Kenzie’s approach to physiotherapy is rooted in a passion for promoting movement and active recovery to achieve patient goals. Doctor Morrow began his studies at the University of Guelph, earning an honours degree in Biology with a minor in Brain and Cognitive sciences. This background started his interest in motor learning and movement lead him to the Chiropractic profession. He attended New York Chiropractic College and earned numerous awards including admission to the Phi Chi Omega Honors Society for his continued academic excellence. He also received the Liberio A .Violini Distinguished Service Award for dedication to service and excellence in patient evaluation and adjustive procedures.

He furthered his Education at the Mc Master Contemporary Acupuncture program and a Neurofunctional Sports Performance Acupuncture certificate from Mc Master University and is an instructor for the main program. He has continually focused on learning many different systems of rehabilitative exercise. This includes manual therapy, neurology and acupuncture to improve his patient’s results. During his career, he has been fortunate to work with professional and amateur athletes and the general population. His passion is getting patients back from injury and improving their overall performance. Doctor Morrow believes that a strong collaboration with Performance specialists, strength coaches and fitness professionals is essential to achieving his patients’ goals.

Doctor Morrow Is part of the High Performance team for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and worked with the Hamilton Bulldogs through 2 Memorial Cup runs. He is the team Chiropractor for the Burlington Cougars and the Burlington Barracudas. Has worked with NCAA Division 1 track athletes, and professional squash among others.

Frankie received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from York University in 2017 and later completed a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University in 2019.

Frankie is a driven Physiotherapist with an interest in treating a variety of orthopedic injuries and cardiac conditions. He has worked with a wide variety of clients, including those living with chronic conditions, as well as amateur and professional athletes. As an Assistant Clinical Professor in McMaster University’s Physiotherapy program Frankie values the role education plays in treatment, in addition to exercise and manual therapy.

With every client Frankie will:

• Help you understand your injury/condition and the recovery process.

• Provide you with evidence-based strategies to reduce your pain/symptoms.

• Develop a manageable activity program that fits your schedule and individual goals.

In his free time Frankie enjoys Brazilian jiu-jitsu and astrophotography.
