Osteopaths use a range of hand-on Osteopathic techniques to achieve and promote health in the body. Their aim is to restore the normal function and stability of the muscles, bones and joints to help the body heal itself.

As a former elite athlete, playing Mens and Womens hockey at top levels, has dedicated a career in the therapeutic treatment and advancement in athlete’s ability and skill. Earned an advanced degree in Massage Therapy in the three-year course at Humber College. As a member, and currently the events chair for the Canadian Sport Massage Therapy Association (CSMTA) Ontario Chapter specializing specifically on patients with athletic backgrounds. Currently, working as the Head Therapist for the Burlington Cougars Junior A Hockey Team. In addition, a sport massage therapist for the Toronto Wolfpack Rugby Team during their Super League Promotion. In the past, worked alongside other therapists for Team Canada at the IIHF World Junior Competition in Buffalo, and Rugby Canada Men’s 15’s Rugby Team during their World Cup qualifying matches. Possesses a dynamic understanding of athletics and working as a team player. As well as, taking additional courses in fascial stretch techniques, athletic taping, Cupping, functional movement screening, concussion testing, Sport First Responder and on-field fast paced injuries.

Combining formal education, industry experience and as a former competitive athlete, Lauren has developed a unique perspective to movement mechanics in sport and in every day life.

Lauren obtained a Bachelor of Health Science honours degree with a specialization in Rehabilitative Sciences from Western University, became trained in functional range conditioning and furthered her education at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy to become an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner.

Lauren competed for over 20 years in synchronized skating, including representing Canada at the senior world level. She draws on that experience working with professional players, teams and industry leaders in skating development. Outside of the clinic, Lauren is a skating development coach and founded LMP, a program designed to develop skating mechanics for hockey players.

In the off-season, she can be found working on ice as the power-skating specialist for the SHIELD off-season program.

Lauren is passionate about creating collaborative environments, habits and mechanics that improve game performance. Through osteopathy, functional movement, and skating development, Lauren is dedicated to optimizing player performance on and off the ice.

Doctor Morrow began his studies at the University of Guelph where he earned an honors degree in Biology with a minor in Brain and Cognitive sciences. This background began his interest in motor learning and movement which brought him to the Chiropractic profession. He attended New York Chiropractic College where he earned numerous awards including admission to the Phi Chi Omega Honors Society for his continued academic excellence. He also received the Liberio A .Violini Distinguished Service Award for dedication to service and excellence in patient evaluation and adjustive procedures. Doctor Morrow Is the team Chiropractor for the Hamilton Bulldogs, Burlington Cougars and the Burlington Baracudas

He furthered his Education at the Mc Master Contemporary Acupuncture program and acquired the Neurofunctional Sports Performance Acupuncture certificate from Mc Master University and is an instructor for the main program. He has continued to pursue clinical excellence with a variety of movement and manual therapy techniques including Anatomy in motion (AIM), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) and neurological techniques including neurokinetic therapy (NKT) and Prospective Deep Tendon Reflex technique PDTR.

Since graduation in 2012, Jon has continually focused on learning many different systems of rehabilitative exercise. Including manual therapy, neurology and acupuncture to improve his patient’s results. During the course of his career he has been fortunate to work with both professional athletes and the general population. His passion is getting patients back from injury and then working on improving their overall performance. Frankie received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from York University in 2017 and later completed a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University in 2019.

Frankie is a driven Physiotherapist with an interest in treating a variety of orthopedic injuries and cardiac conditions. He has worked with a wide variety of clients, including those living with chronic conditions, as well as amateur and professional athletes. As an Assistant Clinical Professor in McMaster University’s Physiotherapy program Frankie values the role education plays in treatment, in addition to exercise and manual therapy.

With every client Frankie will:

• Help you understand your injury/condition and the recovery process.

• Provide you with evidence-based strategies to reduce your pain/symptoms.

• Develop a manageable activity program that fits your schedule and individual goals.
